K'Ehleyr a Klingon-Human hybrid but very few people knew of her exotic ethnicity. Growling slightly as she worked on updating the nav maps it wasn't a hard job but very very tedious tapping the accept button for one of the updates. Crewmen Tev a Tellerite support staff for the lab. Tev found it refreshing working with K'Ehleyr someone who was just as argumentative as he was. "Do you have the diagnostics reports?" K'Ehleyr asked without looking up from what she was doing.
"Right here." Tev said loudly as he had to walk up to the podium-esque console. "Also we were denied the higher capacity power taps." K'Ehleyr just shrugged she knew that it was highly unlikely that this would get approved. Tev set the PaDDs on her console, "so we aren't gonna try and convince the commander that upgrade would be worthwhile?"
"No," K'Ehleyr said looking up at Tev, "the commander is correct that 3% boost wouldn't have helped." Picking up one of the PaDDs and read it over quickly, "plus there's other ways to get that boost and one of them is running more diagnostics......." Tev just nodded knowing where this was going and how much more work it would make for the enlisted staff.
"Lieutenant and crewmen." Mitsue said as she stepping behind them, "and crewmen the lieutenant is right 3% is very minuscule when it comes to sensors. She is also right with running diagnostics and keeping the storage clean."
"Lieutenant Desai," K'Ehleyr said giving her a nod, "I agree but we'll need engineering and operations support." K'Ehleyr added looking at Mitsue seeing as she would be the one discussing this with them. Mitsue nodded luckily her and Vene were getting along but she didn't know about her and the commander.
"I'll speak with them after this whole resin thing." Mitsue said looking at K'Ehleyr, "but for now just continue what you've been doing." Mitsue said pulling out a PaDD and making a note for these meetings. Tev was angry but he also knew that he couldn't blow up at his chief. "So for right now continue what you're doing I want our nav system updated by the end of the week."
K'Ehleyr grunted but nodded, "it'll be done." With that Mitsue nodded and walked down the ramp K'Ehleyr didn't bother to watch the officer leave instead she went back to work knowing that this task was gonna be long and tedious.
